Morning lords and savages.
Solid week so far in markets. Decent amount to cover today. Assets are back on the move north for now.
On top of that we’ve had the further disclosure of a the JFK assassination files.

Markets & Crypto
Markets have given us a bit of a pleasant rebound after the early weeks of the Trump administration which was riddled with tariff panic and more uncertainty. Markets saw significant movements across equities, bonds, and cryptocurrencies. U.S. stocks climbed higher.
In the bond market, Treasury yields eased, reflecting reduced pressure and a shift toward a more accommodative monetary stance.
The Federal Reserve made the following adjustments this week:
Cut their year-end GDP forecast from 2.1% to 1.7%
Year-end core PCE forecast up from 2.5% to 2.8%
Year-end unemployment forecast up from 4.3% to 4.4%
The main takeaway at this point is that it’s pretty easy to see the Fed is nearing the end of it’s quantitative tightening barring any major curveballs. BowTied Bull and others have thoughts on the timeline for this they’ve covered on X and Substack. Aprilish is looking likely.
Jerome Powell did speak a bit about the impact of tariffs on the Fed’s quest for 2% inflation:
“I think we were getting closer and closer to that. I wouldn’t say we were at that. Inflation was running around two and a half percent for some time….. I do think with the arrival of the tariff inflation, further progress may be delayed. The (Summary of Economic Projections) doesn’t really show further downward progress on inflation this year, and that’s really due to the tariffs coming in.”
The Fed has left interest rates unchanged for 2nd straight meeting

Assassin’s Creed Shadows from Ubisoft OTCMKTS: $UBSFY hits the open market tomorrow, and Japan’s government is discussing whether to address certain scenes in the game on a legal level. The most controversial scenes in Assassin’s Creed Shadows were revealed as Yasuke, an African samurai, desecrating and destroying shines, which drew intense blowback from the Japanese people (Insider Gaming)
Tesla TSLA 0.00%↑ has recently faced a wave of nationwide attacks, including vandalism, arson, and cyber harassment, largely in response to Elon Musk’s political affiliations and efforts through DOGE. In Europe signs are emerging depicting him as a Nazi.
The backlash has escalated into organized protests at Tesla showrooms, calls for boycotts, and even personal targeting of Tesla owner’s vehicles and employees. There’s also been instances of SWATTING Tesla Owners — the act of calling in fake violent calls to law enforcement to prompt strong responses to given addresses. Adding to the controversy, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz publicly mocked Tesla’s declining stock this week, stating that seeing it drop gave him a boost, which led to sharp responses from both Musk and the White House.
Musk countered with a pointed remark referencing political shifts, while the White House criticized Walz’s comment as inappropriate. The situation highlights the growing political divide surrounding Musk as he gets closer to the Trump administration, with some viewing him as a disruptive force in business and politics, while others argue that the attacks on Tesla cross ethical and legal lines.
These attacks are yet just another tool in the far left’s box of tricks for flexing a type of soft power. They dox public officials information they don’t agree with (with the explicit intention of putting them in harm’s way), they use violent language and comparisons to rile up lunatics, they support destructive riots in our country, they engaged in partisan corruption in the last administration, and they worked with intelligence agencies and big tech to censor anything they didn’t like over the last 4 years. Entrenched bureaucrats leaked details of ice raids ahead of time, burned documents related to USAID, and resisted administration changes earlier this year. It’s all the same tantrum form of behavior.
It’s their form of “resistance” and they’ll justify it anyway possible, though the crowd favorite these days seems to be that everyone they don’t like is Nazi.
Regardless of how you feel about Elon Musk, targeting regular people who own Teslas or cheering on the demise of a publicly traded company that many Americans own is child shit. Antics. According to Deputy Director of the FBI is actively investigating these attacks and instances of vandalism.
Crypto has hopefully seen the worst of the recent sell off. Bitcoin is now trading around $85,000, Ethereum has reclaimed the $2,000 mark, and some key alt coins have bounced decently as well. You can see below — it seems like we are forming some type if relative bottom.
If you recall some of my scenarios I outlined in our crypto posts in January/February — one of the likely paths crypto would take was a steep sell off ($75,000 to $80,000) and then a continuation of the uptrend sometime in the Spring/Early summer. I still think this is in play.
If the Fed shifts to a QE approach in the coming months, we could see risk on become the trade again.
Nothing ha fundamentally changed on my end for crypto — I bought Bitcoin and Ethereum on the most recent dip and will add alts as soon as ETH shows some more strength. XRP, PEPE, and a few others alts/memes are showing some impressive strength as of late. I will cover crypto in more detail Tuesday so we can see how this latest rally progresses into the weekend.
JFK Files Unveiled “In Full”
The JFK assassination is in some ways the birthplace of modern conspiracy theories, right up there with Roswell New Mexico for UFOs, the moon landing, and other popular topics. In recent years though, as is the case with many “conspiracy theories” new information and data suggests the official story is a load of crap.
The official story is that Lee Harvey Oswald, a former U.S. Marine and Marxist, assassinated President John F. Kennedy by firing three shots from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository in Dallas. Oswald was arrested later that day but was shot and killed two days later by nightclub owner Jack Ruby while in police custody. The Warren Commission concluded in 1964 that Oswald acted alone, though later investigations, including the House Select Committee on Assassinations in 1979, suggested there might have been a conspiracy.
People who are familiar with the political undertones of the 1960’s know there was quite a bit going on that likely played a role in the assassination of JFK on November 22, 1963, in Dallas, Texas
Many of our grandparents and parents have their own theories as to what actually happened when JFK was killed.
Only the last 10 years or so has pressure reached a boiling point for the government to divulge what it has on file about the event.
This week Trump ordered the release of tens of thousands of pages on the Kennedy assassination and related investigations post now to the national archives:
In accordance with President Donald Trump’s directive of March 17, 2025, all records previously withheld for classification that are part of the President John F. Kennedy Assassination Records Collection are released.
You can access them all here — I have read some, but will warn you it’s a shit ton of reading, some of the pages are blurry, some are scanned, and there’s quite a bit to comb through.
One thing is abundantly clear years and years later, Kennedy was pissing people off — he wanted to work to reduce the CIA’s autonomy and power, he actively clashed with military leadership, he was instrumental in pushing for AIPAC, which was once upon a time known as AZC, (the American Zionist Council) to register as a foreign agent, and 10 days before he was assassinated, he demanded the CIA to brief him on the subject of UFOs.
It’s also vital people understand he firmly wanted to block Israel’s nuclear ambitions at the time citing that his administration was unsettled by the potential implications for world stability. There are multiple pages of the JFK files released with examples of the CIA requesting any mention of "Israel" to be redacted from the pages.
There’s some great rabbit holes on X but one good find from Stew Peters is that the testimony of CIA counterintelligence chief-turned Israeli spy, James Angleton, before a secret session with the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence Activities is missing. That document number is: 157-10014-10006. According to Wikileaks the CIA suppressed Angleton's connection to Israeli intelligence and the file was previously "released" in 2017, 2018 and 2022 in redacted form.
Many online hold the opinion Mossad was somehow involved in the assassination with the involvement of the CIA, due to efforts from various individuals in the American spy agency to get nuclear weapons to Israel and subvert JFK’s efforts to stop it from happening.
Intelligence agencies are one thing but Kennedy did himself no favors with other officials either.
Kennedy was despised by military brass and intelligence assets — in the wake of the failed 1961 Bay of Pigs invasion, he took responsibility, but it’s widely known that in private he was furious with his advisors, generals, and "experts”. Shortly after during the Cuban missile crisis, Kennedy rebelled — ordering a naval blockade of Cuba against the recommendation to bomb Cuba from his top brass.
These generals and military officials were no doubt skeptical of Kennedy’s ability to lead.
For those who are not up to speed on the general theories surrounding why Kennedy was killed (outside of Lee Harvey Oswald) they are as follows:
The Second Shooter (The Grassy Knoll Theory)
Many witnesses at Dealey Plaza reported hearing shots from the Grassy Knoll, not just from the Texas School Book Depository.
The House Select Committee on Assassinations (HSCA) in 1979 concluded that there was likely a second shooter in Dallas, though they didn’t identify who.
The infamous Zapruder film suggests JFK’s head jerked backward, which some claim indicates a shot from the front, contradicting the official story.
The CIA Assassination Theory
JFK was at odds with the CIA, especially after the Bay of Pigs invasion failure in 1961.
Former CIA officer E. Howard Hunt (linked to Watergate) allegedly made a deathbed confession that the CIA orchestrated the assassination.
Some believe Oswald was a patsy and that CIA figures like David Atlee Phillips were involved (similar theories have emerged about the Trump shooters)
The Mafia Hit
The Kennedy administration cracked down on organized crime, despite the Mafia allegedly helping JFK to win the 1960 election.
Sam Giancana, a Chicago mob boss, reportedly had ties to both the CIA and JFK’s affairs (including infamous Marilyn Monroe) Happy Birthday Mr. President
Jack Ruby, who ended up killing Oswald, had known Mafia connections, leading to speculation that he was actually silencing a loose end.
The Federal Reserve & Banking Cartel
JFK signed Executive Order 11110, which was aimed to reduce the Federal Reserve’s power by issuing silver-backed U.S. Treasury notes (some of this is alluded to in recent documents)
Some believe elite banking interests had JFK killed in order to maintain the Federal Reserve’s control over U.S. currency.
The Soviet or Cuban Connection
Oswald had defected to the Soviet Union in 1959, had a Soviet wife, and returned to the U.S. in 1962, leading to suspicions he was a Soviet agent.
The CIA had multiple assassination plots against Fidel Castro, and some believe Castro struck first.
Declassified documents that have been out for some time suggest Oswald met with Soviet and Cuban officials in Mexico City weeks before the assassination.
The Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) Conspiracy
Some believe LBJ had the most to gain from JFK’s death, as he had a tense relationship with Kennedy and was under pressure from scandals. Additionally it is said that the Warren Commission, formed to investigate the death of JFK was rendered ineffective due to Johnson withholding information that could have altered it’s eventual conclusions.
LBJ’s close friend and lawyer, Billie Sol Estes, later claimed that LBJ was involved in the assassination
LBJ was reportedly involved with Texas oil magnates who opposed JFK’s tax policies.
Did the American deep state want JFK dead because he was interfering with wartime profit and schemes?
Did the mob wack him?
Did elements within Israeli Intelligence want him dead to remove roadblocks to international influence? To acquiring support for nuclear weapons?
Did the CIA have a rogue element target JFK for his scrutiny of the agency? The deep state?
One thing is for sure — there are some uncomfortable facts coming out about the JFK assassination that involve countries, organizations, and individuals that many Americans are quite familiar with.
This new release is exhaustive — but the bombshell or one truth we were all looking for of course, is left to interpretation. That probably says something in and of itself.
While we may never get to the clear cut answers many of us want, you can speculate based on the information available. What’s more — we have even more recent examples of the powers that be trying to kill an American president based on unpopular viewpoints or goals that upset those at the top of the food chain. Nobody I know, with a brain still thinks the two Trump shooters acted by themselves
It’s kind of wild that we just accept all of this and go about our day when it’s obvious the story fed to us is a complete lie. The implications are there for all of us to see — and yet the truth still eludes us as brazen assassinations and attempts happen.
