Morning,

I said yesterday we’d only do a post if we got a major piece of news between Thursday and the weekend and indeed we did. Today will be a wild day in markets that we will sum up Monday. Follow on X and join the Discord if you want intra day updates.

I have some premium spice for you today straight from the open desert floor of Arrakis.

While markets plays, crypto, financial news, and business updates things most of us thoroughly enjoy (or you wouldn’t be here) in Arb Letter I talk about societal, geopolitical, and political issues as well.

Why?

Well for starters these issues impact our lives, oftentimes more than the numbers on a screen do.

These are the forces and phenomena that dictate what type of world or country we live in. They have the ability to shape our immediate experience, our quality of life, and the future of our world. History is a great teacher which is why so many these days are so desperate to obfuscate the past.

If you’ve known me or read my work for longer than a year you know I frequently cover topics that others do not and I have dealt with issues because of that. Covid, the 2020 election, BLM/Antifa, the War in Ukraine, illegal immigration, and many more of the hallmark events of the last several years, were times when the majority of people were happy to take the safe route and parrot mainstream talking points or bite their tongue.

I am not afraid of sharing controversial commentary, thoughts, or opinions. I prefer to call things out exactly as I see them. For me, political correctness, corporate speak, and beating around the bush do nothing for us, in fact oftentimes these are tools of passive aggressive oppression.

Those veils almost always hide the actual truth.

They attempt to gloss over what’s ACTUALLY happening around us.

The crazy part is, over time, as you become outnumbered by individuals who benefit from certain narratives, actions, and policies, you will stop realizing the level of gaslighting being thrown in your face.

(this is where we are now).

No You’re Not Imagining It, You’re Being Replaced

The script is identical across the West: mass migration ramps up, ordinary citizens take on the costs in jobs, rent, and safety, elites pocket the upside, and then politicians throw half-measures at the problem once it’s already too late to reverse without drastic action.

The Trump administration came out yesterday afternoon saying that they are going to begin reviewing all 55 million US visa holders to see if any have committed deportable offenses.

No you didn’t read that incorrectly.

55,000,000 people.

Not Americans. Not Citizens of our country. People here on foreign visas.

For those of us who have been sounding the alarm on social and domestic issues for years in the US and the West, this new piece of information sadly confirms two of our biggest fears:

a.) the US has an exorbitant amount of foreigners, illegals, and non Americans flooding into the country and living here

b.) the number is WAY higher than any of us could have ever imagined

55,000,000 man.

That’s visas.

With illegal aliens that entered the country the last 4-5 years?

“Official” estimates on the amount of illegals in the US vary widely with typically cited ranges from sources from Pew sitting between 10 million and 14 million.

Anyone with sense knows these are probably much too conservative after all, every “official” data source from Covid deaths, to BLS statistics, to voter numbers, to deaths in foreign wars, to inflation, to crime statistics have been manipulated and fudged over the past few years for political gain.

You truly live in the Truman Show. We have no idea what is real or not, we just know we are being lied to.

A 2018 study by scholars at Yale’s School of Management estimated the unauthorized immigrant population could be as high as 16 million to 29 million. That was in 2018 before the Biden administration let the entire country get stormed for years.

So realistically? I would say the number of illegals could sit between 30 million on the low end up to 50 or 60 million on the high end.

As my friend Will Tanner points out in his estimate — we land at a number around 100,000,000.

100,000,000 foreigners in the United States. Think about that for a minute.

They say the US population is about 340M as of 2024 (not sure I believe that now) but let’s just go with that.

You’re looking at about 20% to 30% of the US population being foreigners. 1/5 on the conservative side.

Surprised? I’m sure not. Anecdotally this has been my suspicion for years now walking around in any major city or American town.

I’m not sure it has dawned on people just how substantial and massive the impact of this is on our nation.

On housing prices.

On communities.

On the cost of goods.

On hospitals.

On job availability.

On infrastructure.

On transportation.

On social cohesion.

On elections.

It’s really not hyperbole to say that this is nation-ending stuff in the sense that you will no longer recognize your country eventually.

Normally I would say “if left unchecked” but the nasty truth is we are probably too far down this path for any type of meaningful reversal without actions that would have even conservatives becoming uncomfortable.

Few accounts or influencers have talked about this honestly over the past several months. I touched on in The United States of What Exactly post from last June in which I talked about what the future looks like in a country where we simply let anyone and everyone in indefinitely. BowTiedRanger mentioned it on Risk On earlier in the year when he said the next big conversation will be about “legal” immigration.

It’s grim.

But the first step is recognizing it as an issue and not shying away from conversations about it because you’ve been conditioned for decades to just say “everyone deserves to come here” “everyone is welcome” “diversity is our strength!” “deportations are wrong!”.

You’re not obligated to accept this. You don’t have to be okay with it. Americans have been royally f*cked over and more and more people are starting to wake up to that fact.

At some point, a nation has to ask itself: how many outsiders can be integrated before the fabric starts to fray? Schools, hospitals, and communities are asked to absorb wave after wave, while the shared cultural glue that once bound the country together weakens.

The pace and scale of inflows are unlike anything in modern history and you cannot avoid the impact.

How bad is it really? Let’s take a look my friend.

"You've got to stop putting the interests of foreigners who don't have the right to be here over the interests of American citizens — You know what the worst thing for people at the bottom of the income ladder is? It's when you flood the country with millions of illegal aliens and force our poor Americans to compete for jobs against low-wage foreigners who don't even have the legal right to be here.”
