Morning all — hope everyone had a decent Monday and great Fourth of July Weekend. Quite difficult to be motivated with the warm weather here but we can try.

As we get into the full swing of summer — I’ve teamed up with with one of our longest partner brands to get you guys great deals on durable and high quality deal sleds and loafers with Jay Butler.

At this point I’m on my 9th pair — you’re hard pressed to find a more durable, versatile, and modular loafer out there that can play multiple roles — dressed down or up depending on your locale or outfit. I will be rocking my brown alligator ones with the gold bit this weekend in the Hamptons with tan khakis, Peter Millar polos, and the classic JFK Ray Bans.

They’ve added some new styles and drivers (that look great) as well so be sure to check them out. Not every pair of sleds you have needs to be Gucci — and I prefer to have a good stock of workhorse sleds for everyday use.

You can view the store HERE.

How Persistence Can Change Your Life

I am sure folks are eager to hear my thoughts on the crypto dump we have all been living through — and we will get to that on Thursday. There’s a lot to talk about from the sustained dumping, to Germany tranaferring more Bitcoin to exchanges, to the impending ETH ETFs, and more.

Let’s talk about something today that can immediately have a positive impact on your life.

Today I want to talk about one of the top qualities that has made a material difference in my success in life in both the corporate realm and my endeavors with Arbitrage Andy and Arb Letter.

Persistence.

The number one difference maker in my life up to this point has without a doubt been persistence. Doesn’t matter if it was my high school athletic career and then my D1 NCAA career, my success in sales & trading, or my online business ventures — persistence was undoubtedly the number one factors in any success I was able to achieve thus far.

Persistence Andy — yeah yeah, you’ve talked about this before and everyone knows you have to be persistent to win.

On the longer time frame persistence is the number one difference maker for successful individuals

I am talking about a n almost psychotic level of persistence that few people have the willpower or fortitude to maintain over a long period of time. THIS flavor of persistence has been the difference maker in my life on many fronts.

I want to share my experience with persistence as a tool today to hopefully help folks understand it is instrumental in success you will find in any given field you choose to pursue, this could include:

  • Dating

  • Business

  • Finances and investing

  • Losing weight

  • Getting healthier

  • Improving social skills

  • Hobbies and skill sets

  • Or manifesting something you really want in life

One of the most useful ways to think about persistence is to view it as table stakes or the minimum.  Without constantly and relentlessly applying yourself over long periods of time you never really get the chance to see any changes in results in your pursuits. It needs to be a constant in order to yield anything worth having.

It needs to be a constant so that you have a reference point to look back on and judge — if you falter or give uneven amounts of effort or work towards end goals it becomes very difficult to tell what works and what doesn’t and worse, it makes it that much harder to replicate winning strategies or techniques to get what you want out of life.

Calvin Coolidge has one of the best quotes on persistence that I keep above my desk:

Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not: the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.

As we enter the middle of summer most of you if you’re like me are scheming on what your next big endeavors, life changes, or ventures are that you want to tackle into the Fall and end of the year. Instead of waiting for the end of the year to make changes or focus on what you want to achieve use the guide today to help you dial in on where you can apply more persistence to get what you want out of life.

Our time is limited on this rock in space — anything you gravitate towards or want to accomplish will be that much more successful if you ruthlessly apply persistence each and every day.

Let’s start with a few examples of where I have seen the highest payoff due to persistence in my own life. With any luck you can see clearly how persistence can change your own life for the better.

Success is not a matter of mastering subtle, sophisticated theory but rather of embracing common sense with uncommon levels of discipline and persistence.
