413: Tuesday Alpha Dump
Hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. For the short week going to try and drop a post today, one Thursday afternoon, and an episode of Risk On.
Today’s post is crypto and equity alpha for this week — ideas and themes that might provide you with some opportunities should you be interested in making some money.
As I predicted on X on Saturday — we got a lame attempt at bearishness on low volume with crypto dumping a decent amount only for markets to be green again by early this morning. NEVER take crypto weekend price action at face value. It’s almost always a scam.
Anyways — going to try something new this week that I may begin doing on Sunday evenings or Monday mornings before market open. Consolidating alpha ideas/themes/points of interest across asset classes for the upcoming week.
One thing I noticed over the years is that by the time I was up to speed mentally for the week (usually 2pm on Tuesdays) I hadn’t had the chance to review what was important or interesting for the week. If it was a busy week at my day job or if I had other things going on I would hear about earnings, catalysts, news developments, etc. via X or someone sharing info with me via a group chat — which was after the fact.
Not much help if you’re finding out after the fact or don’t know what to look for.

Make sure to follow us on X if you aren’t already — that’s where things get posted minutes after they happen. It’s faster than bloomberg, google, or any other news source you will get.
While I’m always wary of global macro, Trump tariff curveballs we didn’t expect, or some black swan event that craters us lower as of late I agree with RookieXBT on X this morning.
Let’s start with equities for the week. Markets opened green and I’m thinking we pump hard if earnings results like NVDA 0.00%↑ can give us some rocket fuel and ignite risk on across the board.
