Good morning - if you missed Part I of this series you can find it here (free for all subs).

Yesterday I tried to quickly summarize the events in Israel and their immediate rippling effects on geopolitics and markets, as well as some high level thoughts of my own on the attack and current situation we are watching. Worth noting again - I’m not an expert on the Israeli - Palestine question.

To give you a bit of context behind todays post - I studied international relations with a concentration on global terrorism in school and generally try to stay as informed as I can on global developments. I’ve read/studied extensively on the subject (mainly Mearsheimer, Gilpin, Randall Schweller, Hobbes, etc.) and also read extensively about armed conflicts around the world — those unfolding today and those in the past.

Arb Letter — is my project to work towards bringing as many people as possible the most up to date, relevant, straightforward, and crucial commentary on global events, markets, and life. I don’t pull punches here unlike many in media and news.

Todays post is just my opinion as someone who follows foreign affairs and geopolitics closely - but I do think that hopefully the signs of some of the outcomes and risk factors I will highlight today are becoming more obvious with each day. The point is to inform people through a clear objective lens. The subject matter of today’s post is serious.

While the attacks in Israel and the future of global relations in the middle east is hazy at this hour - we will get clarity in the coming days on how involved the US and other nation states will get in this conflict - either through necessity from escalation or for ulterior reasons (financial, economic, security). We currently have two Carrier groups in the Mediterranean at the moment which does not instill hope that we’ve seen the end of escalation as a result of this conflict.

The Messenger has reported that the US has sent hostage rescue experts to Israel. Meanwhile, U.S. special operations forces have been placed on alert in a nearby European country, according to two senior U.S. military officials. Israel defense forces have confirmed: "A number of launches from Syria aimed for Israel were identified a short while ago”. This comes after reports Syria is mobilizing troops.

There will be US boots on the ground.

Iran will most certainly become more active in this conflict in the coming days.

World War III may very well be upon us as much as it saddens me to say.

While most probably haven’t fully processed what happened and what awaits us — even fewer have probably pondered what this could mean at home in the US (and allied countries like the UK or Germany).

The past 60 years since the end of World War II the world has known a relative sense of order. That post war order is crumbling in fantastic fashion. Globalism — pushed hard for years by far left elite and organizations is highlighting a very important downside now that shit is hitting the fan.

The reality is domestic risk threats for terrorism, violence from protests, and actions taken by hostile groups as a result of the US decision making and sentiment towards this event has substantially elevated.

Violent protests have broken out all over the world and within the US in the last 24 hours. BLM, once the golden child of corporate woke dorks and US organizations has decided to endorse the actions of Hamas against Israel — likening the attacks to the ongoing efforts of BLM to dismantle said “colonizers” and “oppressors”.

You mean to say that the champions of equality and equity endorse the means Hamas used to further their ends in Israel?

That’s exactly what it says.

As Joel Berry said on Twitter remember when people would get fired from their jobs for calling BLM a terrorist organization?

Meanwhile the Southern Border has been wide open for years — letting illegal immigrants and migrants from conflict countries and high risk states through with absolutely ZERO vetting — they blend in easily with true immigrants hoping for a better life.

This should set off your internal alarm bells. Our country is far from secure right now.

We are going to see a highly volatile domestic environment erupt soon in the US fueled by the election, geopolitical shifts, and cultural differences — we are now a country that does not share ideals or basic goals or morals. People are out for themselves and worse — many feel it is justified to use horrendous methods to achieve political aims. In case anyone needs reminding that’s the textbook definition of terrorism.

We have China, Russia, Iran, and other enemies pushing a full court press globally and back home we can’t decide if there are two genders or if repeat felons should be taken off the streets.

All of that against a bleak economic backdrop — people can’t afford homes or food, inflation is entrenched and here to stay, our national debt is insurmountable, the market is teetering, and people have quite literally never been more politically divided.

Today’s post, part 2 of our WWIII series aims to touch on the following:

  • The rising domestic threat levels in the US

  • Where these risks are the highest

  • Factors that grow this risk day by day

  • Useful information on hedging against the worst case scenario

  • Predictions for what comes next

Commuting into NYC this morning I was uneasy — you can feel that things are not right in the world or here at home. Tensions are high, the world order we once knew is fading, and it seems each day our government makes worse and worse decisions to secure security and prosperity for the American people. Worse — our enemies are everywhere.

Khalid Mashal the leader and founding member of Hamas gave a speech yesterday outlining the following (from @BrotherRasheed Twitter):

  • A call to show anger around the world, particularly Friday the 13th referring to this as “The Friday of Al Aqsa Blood”

  • Requests for financial help referring to this as a “financial Jihad”

  • He pleaded for political pressure from Muslim Leaders and Nations

  • He requested and called on all Muslims around the world to carry out Jihad. He wants Muslims to fight against Jews naming Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt (though he mentioned others)

Funds are important but today we are asking for your blood and souls [to be sacrificed for Palestine].

Make no mistake this is a call to violence. Let’s start with how this raises threat levels within the US and other Western Countries.
