Good morning.

It takes one brief look around to realize we are in unprecedented territory.

I want to circle back to what I say often: people are living in two different realities.

I’m sure most of you are familiar with Plato’s Allegory of the Cave. Plato’s Allegory of the Cave is a story in The Republic (Book VII) that uses a vivid metaphor to explain his theory of knowledge, reality, and enlightenment.

This allegory accurately depicts the US and world today.

Hundreds of millions of people living in a trance in complete denial or ignorance. Many still in the same state of psychosis they fell into when we were psy oped, mindf*cked, and lied to during the Covid Pandemic, unable to attain enlightenment and see just how misled they actually are and more importantly, what is actually going on.

I ruthlessly cull my circle these days with those who have made an effort to leave the cave, in fact I can tell within like 5 minutes if someone “made it out” or “sees the exit”.

The ones stuck staring at the shadows on the wall are simply beyond helping at this point.

You won’t convince them the horse shadow isn’t real or that just behind them are actors contributing to the “show” they are watching.

Political violence has infused itself into American life over the past several years. It has reached a new level in the last month or so and is now almost a daily occurrence.

Sunday morning I went to church with my wife and two young children. Before leaving I decided given everything going on it would be prudent to grab my concealed carry gun. I don’t particularly like carrying to church and generally avoid it but that morning it just seemed to be something I should do.

Upon leaving mass, I checked X and saw the news that a man had just driven into a church in Michigan, opened fire, and proceeded to light the entire building on fire. Children were shot. People were found in the burnt ruins in the aftermath after gathering in a place of worship and peace.

Tragic news and a weird morning for me considering my train of thought earlier.

This is the world we live in now.

No amount of cope, ignorance, or downplaying is going to change that fact, and the truth is the trend is entirely unpredictable, it can happen anywhere at any time. The only thing you can rely on is your common sense and situational awareness, but there’s a kicker.

To do that you need to understand WHAT is happening and WHY.

If you had any doubt of this continued cultural decline, particularly in the US all of the below has taken place in the last 4 weeks:

  • Charlie Kirk was assassinated at the University of Utah

  • An ICE facility in Dallas took sniper fire which ended up killing three detainees

  • A gunman on a boat opened fire into a crowd of people at the American Fish Company restaurant in South Port, North Carolina

  • Another gunman drove his truck into a Mormon church in Michigan, opened fire and then set the entire building on fire, killing 3 and injuring multiple others. He had an IED in his vehicle.

  • Multiple people were shot at a private recreational community in Lake Ariel, Pennsylvania

People all across the country are realizing that this country is not what it once was, that political division is so great now, people are turning to terrorism and violence as a solution.

Today we’re going to discuss our rapidly changing world in a candid and straightforward way covering:

  • The steep increase in political violence, what is driving it and why it matters

  • The convergence of immigration, cultural, and racial issues in the US and West

  • Why it’s more important than ever to look at these events critically and see through the “official story”

In conversations with others this weekend, it’s evident this time is different.

There is a sense of unease and anxiety about watching things spiral out of control in real time. This is decentralized, wanton, senseless violence reaching into all corners of the US and West, and unfortunately there is no end in sight.

Taken together, the rise in political violence, the demographic and cultural upheaval, and the media’s relentless distortion of reality point to a country entering uncharted territory.

What comes next will determine not just the future of politics, but the future of daily life in the West for all of us.

***An important note***

Effective tomorrow at 6pm ET - the rate for Arb Letter will be increasing for new subs.

IF YOU HAVE AN EXISTING SUBSCRIPTION YOU ARE GRANDFATHERED IN AT YOUR CURRENT RATE.

Let me say it again, you are keeping your old rate, no change as long as you maintain your subscription without canceling. This happens automatically in Substack’s system. Please don’t email me asking if your rate is changing, it is not.

This is only applicable for new paid subscribers after the deadline. So if you’ve been considering an upgrade to paid, do it before the deadline to lock in the current rate.

Why? Combination of factors. First of all, we are steeply underpriced compared to comparable publications and the average on Substack. Second, given reader feedback it’s clear a good deal of value is being derived that I’d like price to reflect. Third, it will allow for further expansion and marketing.

Let’s dive in.
